Default STS turbo limitations

I currently have a garrett T-04E (60mm) being used on an STS kit. How big a turbo can I fit with that flange. I plan to upgrade to a 76mm turbo in the future and it would be nice to slap it onto the existing STS hot pipes. What do you guys think?

A Master Power T70 or T76 P-trim turbo will bolt right in there. The only difference is the MP's have a 2 1/2" outlet on the compressor where the Garret as a 2", but nothing a new coupler can't fix.

And how much is a MP T76 P-trim? And how well would it feed a 6.0L?

I upgraded the 60-1 to a 76 on the Hemi and I got a new pipe from STS because the compressor outlet was bigger. The #1 pipe on the STS kit tapers down to fit the 60-1 so by getting the bigger turbo you will be good.

So normally the pipe attached to the compressor outlet is 2" and uses a pipe that is 2" on one side and 2 1/2" on the other side. It stays that way until you hit the cabin then in goes to a 3" and then it changes again before it goes into the tb.

So all I need to do is get the #1 pipe that will accomodate the bigger turbo? Also, what diameter is the turbine discharge on the T-76?

you should be able to order a 2.5" silicon coupler, the discharge should be a 2.5". It all really depends on what version of the MP T76 you get. Try looking up the online catalog, it will answer both of your questions.

ummm...... You know better then to ask all the foolish questions on turbo size.... WHY did you change your screen name for this site??... 76mm will be fine for a 6.0 when u get one but your far from done with that 4.8 man.. put a cam in it... that will help you get rid of all that crank case pressure and make some power !
