I had the same setup and it worked out fine. You will have to lose the muffler. You can remove the cats also and it will spool up about 300 rpm faster.

Wasn't my truck, it was another members, (you know who you are Todd
) He did get some injectors on it and it's all good now 
Just posting this as a reference, in case some think they can just uses the stock injectors
