Thats what i though about TieRod. But lookin inside the muffler i dont see how it could.
Its stainless steel mesh inside the muffler. Just talked to Jim at Magnaflow, They are rated for 1400*F... unless it reaches 1400* there is no chance at anything coming loose inside the muffler.
What temps would the exhaust see before the turbo??

I run a 40 series stainless Flowmaster in front of the turbo. I didn't want to take a chance of any baffling material coming lose. Sounds great, and didn't lose any power. It actually spools a bit quicker than without. Check out that muffler it has large welded chambers that even if they come lose won't fit through the exit hole of the muffler. I have seen what just the slightest debris can do to a turbo and it's not good...
