Default STS install help

I am about to install an sts kit with gt67, fmic, walbro intank, 43lb injectors and a tune from nelson. all of this is going on at the same time. When i first start the truck after the install is there anything that i need to do besides just double check everything. Should i let it run for awhile to let the computer check out what is going on, take it out and cruise for awhile. Any help would be great. Thanks

Just slap it all on, fire it up, make sure you don't have any leaks and that everything is working right, then taker for a spin

Wheres your Wideband? any type of Datalogging equip? I suggest just take a few nice easy cruises and make sure all sounds good. Then just keep driving a little harder and see how it runs, I wouldnt do a hard W O T run till ya get a way to monitor your A/F ratio. 1 time lean on top end could mean boom. I do know Nelson tunes on the safe side most times but not always.Good Luck.

Don't forget the love for the tranny, the transgo kit would be a short term solution for the drive train until you catch that virus from some of the other Forced Induction members on here. Then its FLT all the way.

I got the kit and the boost gauge is an autometer mech. gauge, it has a small tube that comes from it, do i just break off the spot on the manifold and stick it in or do i have to have a connector of something to hold it in?

is that air/fuel gauge a wideband if not dont waste your money for a narrowband gauge thats just a purdy light show

id put a boost, fuel press., and wideband gauge on ANY FI setup

you should get a trans temp gauge too if you dont have one in your dash cluster, but the interceptor might cover that IDK

yes i think it is a wideband, and with the boost gauge, do i just stick the line in the manifold or is there a clip or something to hold it in.
