Use the old one. Diesel sensors are not designed to read engine vacuum, although they will somewhat.

The only reason he might have been able to do it with a procharger, is because you can rape the PE table to add fuel as the RPM/Boost increases. With a turbo, you can make full boost at pretty much any RPM above 22-2500 with the right amount of load. No way to add fuel for that without just being pig rich when its not in boost at those RPM's.

I would venture to say he would have never got it to run right and eventually blown it up trying to tune it with a 1 bar MAP SD only tune...

I checked with him and he explained that he set the MAF max reading, guess he said 95 or 105, to be the max boost but it has to be a max fixed boost not to be turned down using boost controller. I asked if it be reach below when not under boost and he said yes.

Long story short, I am going with 3-bar map sensor and will have him tune it SD (mafless tune).
