Default Stock Fuel pump

I'm going to add a t-74 or 76 turbo at the beginning of the year. My question is do I have to change the fuel pump right away or will it last for awhile. I plan to run around 10lbs of boost. The motor is a stock lq4 with stage 3 heads. If I change it what is the best route in tank or a aeromotive style?

Walbro 255... you can find them from $100-150 all day long... and you might need some 60lb injectors for that much boost??

At 10 psi with your 6.0L you should make 550rwhp if not more. If you plan to run more boost later on, or do not plan to use methanol injection then it would be good to oversize your fuel system now. A single 255 in tank will be close to its limits at that power level.

at the very least upgrade the pump. A good rule of thumb is to go overkill on the fuel system.

If a single 255 will be close to the limit what else could I add like trtturbo said I'd rather have more than less. Is there a dual 255. Sorry if seems like a dumb question, but I'm basically a rookie when it cames to newr models 99+.

Some guys will run a 255 with a Boost a pump. The BAP will increase voltage to the fuel pump when you are under boost so it can deliver more fuel. Others have modified the bucket that the pump sits in inside the tank and installed 2 255 pumps.
