FL8, I thought that I read a post that you did not have the sock on the filter and that may have helped you suck the water? I may be wrong, I drove my truck all the time in the rain, I didn't think it was that easy to suck water! Maybe I should relocate my filter. I don't really get on it hard in the rain anyway. (traction issues)
