I'm kind of in between ordering the on3 or the GT45
any specific reason you went with the on3?

One reason is that a friend of mine has an On3 turbo on his 5.3 mustang and it runs its *** off. Other than that, nothing. If I woulda found one cheaper that I'd heard decent reviews about, that woulda been it. Only bought it as sort of a "bridge" turbo. A 76mm that shouldn't see more than 6 months or so of service for 350 shipped to my door? Hard to beat that. When the 370 gets built, the ole BW 80mm billet wheel turbo will unleash the fury hehe

Finally getting close on getting the blue truck done. Haven't been taking pics along the way, unfortunately, but there have been a few changes made from the original plan. Original plan was a 370 with the BW 80mm and a 4L80e. The changes I've made were going with a smaller turbo (76mm) and running the 4.8L for a while, as well as going with an Edelbrock intake instead of the stocker. When I get it done I'll post a few pics and a dyno video.

Here she is about to head to the tranny shop for the 4L80e swap. First time she's seen the outside of the garage in 8 months.

Heres a dyno pull. Made 508 to the tires... Kinda weak for 15psi but the exhaust turbine and housing are pretty small.

Anyone still here? LoL. Got the lil truck pretty well lined out, she runs pretty good. Still on the sbe 4.8 with head studs and LS9 gaskets, the truck has run a best time of 10.98 and a best mph of 125. Still has more in it, this was leaving on pretty much no boost with just under a 1.9 short time. BigKleib34 even made a video covering the truck when I was doing Street Car Takeover back in October of last year. That was pretty awesome. Need a better turbo tho, this Precision 7475 is working its *** off, making a bit of heat. The little motor has done really well so far, thought I'd see just how far it'll go before she pops. Pretty sure I could get quite a bit more out of her if I had something like a BW s476 with a 87mm exhaust wheel. I do still have the s480 with the 96mm exhaust wheel, but it's more of a street truck than a race truck and I'd like it to spool in a decent amount of time.

74/75 you could switch the 76/75. The 96 wheel would be laggier then you are use to. But once lit. Would get it done.
What boost you running now on that 74/75?

I thought about Precision's new gen2 7675cea , but I'm pretty sure it has pretty close to the same exhaust side as mine does. I don't mind giving up a little response to gain some power, but I don't really wanna put the big turbo on it. Which is why I was considering an S476 with the 87mm exh wheel. Running the 7475 on about 18-20psi. Goes up or down just a little depending on ambient temps. I'm using the 37mm wastegate port on the front of the manifold and I think it may be a little too small.
