yea, I may remove the grill insert and see if I like it. But shouldn't be an issue.

But back to the original question from the OP, I think you could benefit while driving in tow with a fan mounted, maybe on a toggle switch, any thing over highways speeds it wouldn't be necessary.

yea, I already ordered a fmic so I dont have to worry about the fans. The engine bay is a mess with wires as it is lol

I tested mine with and without my grill insert and my IAT's were not affected for what its worth.
