AIT is commonly referanced on aircraft, and it means similar.

What is the widest fmic I can run? 27"?

Should work just like any of the KB and Trick FMIC kits. These 99-02 chevys and 99-05 gmcs dont have a big opening in the lower airdam but since the inlets are at the bottom of the intercooler, im sure most of the air goes through the lower 1/3 which would be in that opening.

Of course this is just my theory hahaha.

I have thought of this as well. for the 99-02 guys the intercooler must be mounted in between the frame rails. The bottom valence seems to block any airflow that would help cool the charged air.

Yea, well I ordered the intercooler. The core is a little bigger than the procharger 3 core, and it will be in more direct air flow so it should be better. we will see.

Yea us 99-02 guys either have to mod the airdam or get one of a HD model that has an opening in it all ready.

The Denali bumper has a somewhat large opening to allow air through.
