Hey stupid question, but who makes those nozzles and are they push to lock or do they go into a nozzle holder?

I set up a test fixture today just to see how it work and so I could feel the water coming out of the nozzles. I'm pretty excited to get the kit installed.

Will you guys post some pics of how you set your windshield washer fluid reservoir up in your set ups. What kind of fitting are you using for the feed at the bottom of the tank and are you just using the stock fluid level sensor in the middle of the reservoir?

I am using the stock fluid level sensor yes. As far as the fitting the Alky control kit I bought also came with a new tank that was pre tapped and the fitting was already there.

Where did you opt to mount the nozzles?

A -4 pushloc hose end fits prefectly in the stock rubber grommet that holds the washer pump. That is what used did for along time until i got an alkycontrol kit.

Sorry i never looked back in this thread The are pipe threaded. I was just going to thread them into the lower intake and hook up lines to the outside.

I tried the -4 push lock fitting in the stock reservoir but didn't like it. It fit and seemed not to leak but just wasn't secure enough for me. I tapped it 1/4 npt and will run a npt to AN fitting there instead. I need to go buy a stock fluid level sensor and then that part will be installed and done.

I still plan on putting the nozzles in the snout of the intake opposite from each other and staggered with a nitrous express solenoid. I hope to have it running with meth this weekend

As I said earlier, set up the pump, nozzle and reservoir today and can't believe how much fuel the 14 puts out. A single DO14 filled a vitamin water bottle in 1 min 5 seconds. That's a **** load of fuel when running two 14's. Makes me wonder how much fuel I should pull in the tune when I get started this weekend.

Remember that the stoich of meth is far richer mixture... So it takes WAY more fuel to have an impact.
Id start with about 8% and go from there. Of course that depends on the kit. But thats what I did with my alky control set to come on around 5 psi and the gain **** at 6 of 8. My jnitial is where Julio left it.

Okay. I was thinking I would start at 10% and see if that is close to enough. I set my start at 7psi and have it full at 12psi. Should I move my initial on down to 5 or so?

Just for something to think about, when I ran meth, I used an old coolant reservoir to hold my meth. It looks factory, holds plenty, is clear so you can see the level, and most importantly most reservoir tanks come with a low coolant switch in them. I never completed it as I swapped projects, but EFI Live offers a valet option (I would assume HPT also offers this) that can disable the engine above a desired RPM when triggered(I am now using this option as a 2-Step). I figured this would be a good failsafe way to kill the power if the reservoir happens to run low. Here are a couple old pics I took.
