radix why is it lean.

i had a shop install my radix onto the vortec max and continually throw lean codes. p 171 and p174. ive checked the mafs and cleaned it and tighted all the piping back up. im using the stock superchips tune. i cant figure it out. its either the tune or maybe something else. anyone else had this problem? i am running a 3.2 pulley instead of the 3.3 but that wouldnt do this as the superchips tune is supposed to be rich and im staying out of boost. any ideas guys? thanks alot.

Did you swap your stock MAF back in?
Perhaps the pulley does make that much of a difference but if you havent even gone into boost I doubt that's it.
Where are you located, maybe somebody local can check your tune?

When I had my Radix installed, there was a o-ring under the fuel regualor thing that was all bent up. It was messing up the air/fuel mix eveytime you gave it gas. once we replaced that it was good as gold.

Sounds like its getting unmetered air. Like a gasket leak. Maybe an intake gasket got cut on install.
Get a wide band on it and see what its really running. If you dont have a WB at least check the stock O2's and see what they are reading.
Then maybe a few sprays of ether in the suspect areas to check for a leak.
My first step would be to put the correct pulley back on and trouble shoot from there.

all of the common radix ordeals are covered in this thread...
have your installers go over the install. Especially the maf wire splicing. The fpr o-ring is common as well. intake gaskets getting pinched are common as well. A wideband on the setup is helpful no matter if you have probs or not. (can't tell i am pro-WB use). Maybe a simple leak after maf? I like the simple stuff first. I get the shivers just thinking of checking the intake gaskets. (I am real lazy)
