It is really hard to make a list but here it goes. Pricing on all parts depends on mfg. and level of hp.

Turbo hot pipes
turbo
38mm gate
blowoff
cold piping
silcone couplers
clamps
vaccum line to match to gate and blow off
final exhaust connection
fuel injectors 42lb or 60lb depending on hp goals
fuel pump maybe again depending on hp goals
tuning
wideband
boost gauge
air fuel gauge
air filters
oil pressure line
oil return line
misc fitting for oil lines
spark plugs
new exhaust gaskets or rtv

intercooler kit, dending on HP levels

tanny mods
shift kit with servos

I think thats about it I am sure there is alot more hard to tell each build is a little different.
heres a pic of a standard kit with no IC stuff.

I read your other thread & I too concur. Here's my .02. 1st, your motor is a Vortec. I understand & appreciate the "deal" strategy. If on a budget, that may be the only way or if u just like seeing parts gradually going to your goal, that's cool too.

But, I think you'd be better off to save up your $, & buy a kit all at once. Here's why. Today's uncertain economy, if u need the $ beforehand, you'll have a pile of parts u need to offload. And hope someone is using your combo of parts or if your combo changes. You want finances to be" liquid". Then once u saved up, hopefully u researched/ asked questions so you're better off when time comes. If u buy from 1 place u know they'll hook u up w/. a combo that meets your needs, u can grow w/. & their support too.

Support is a necessity when forging new ground. A F/I build shouldn't be taken lightly. It's a big $ outlay & req's forethought. It'll keep parts together( hopefully) or blow em apart if u want. But u want a combo that performs & makes u happy.

Trick is a top notch supporter of PT, as is KBRacing. If I were to go turbo, I'd look to them. Customer service & knowledge from those 2! They didn't pay me to say that, but I'd take pymt. in a turbo kit. BTW, look who the 2nd post is from. Hope this helps.

Matt hope you got some solid advice out of this...I would suggest you save and buy a kit all at once like a few people said. Stock piling parts from deals you see is great (check out the classifieds) but as you collect parts your plans usually change and you get hooked into a situation where it would become costly to get yourself out of it if you needed too.

What better reason to stock pile parts than to buy it all at once then change your mind after you install everything. How many turbo builds have you seen lately that people build and suddenly change their minds about it?

I personally have been stockpiling parts. There hasn't been a deal I haven't been able to take advantage of and I spend a LOT of time on the forums. I have about $2000-2500 into my build right now and I have gotten some really good deals.

I could have the turbo on my truck right now as we speak minus about $100 in parts, but I didn't want to cheap out on quality, just on prices.
