EDIT: Shop did a smoke test and found the bypass valve is leaking badly. It's the shitty looking one that came with the kit and was wondering which bypass valve I should replace it with...There shows 2 separate types on the website, open and closed and if I should go with the bullet or race valve.

Yes, the stock bypass valve is very inefficient. Either bypass from procharger would be beneficial. I will end up with the big open race valve eventually.

The vortech race valve is a very nice unit, is more then half the price of the big red. This is before I had the bigger blower, but it does seem even louder now( maybe blowing off more air)

Well had the gauges put in today, and not seeing any Boost whatsoever...wasn't exceeding 3500 rpms, but I think I should be seeing something at that point...Stays deep in vacuum except for one quick burst to about 4k rpms where it just barely touched boost before I let off as it started with the check engine..

Took the bypass valve off to check it and just putting some air through it from my lungs I can feel it coming out the other end and side..would this be my culprit? Here's a picture of it:

mine doesn't start building boost until about 3600rpm. And I have a D1 with a 4" pulley. are you putting it in Neutral and revving it?

Hmm..thought it started building boost lower than that...It was while driving and was staying very light on the throttle though. Ordered a normal proflo anyway to replace the one I have.

this is one of my logs. on the far left of the graph you can see the rpms are about 3600. if you look to the right side the KPA is 92. Atmosphere is about 90 here.
