You can start with the 6. You want to run the hottest plug your motor will allow. If they don't work out, bump them down to the 7.

You want to run the coldest it will allow, not the hottest.

I think we both are thinking the same thing just wording it differently.


The trick is to find a spark plug that runs cool enough to support a supercharged environment while also burning hot enough to prevent spark plug fouling.

K, thanks guys. Picked up a set of TR6 plugs today and getting the gauges in finally. Hopefully this gets me running better...been dying to finally get to the track for some new times.


EDIT: Shop did a smoke test and found the bypass valve is leaking badly. It's the shitty looking one that came with the kit and was wondering which bypass valve I should replace it with...There shows 2 separate types on the website, open and closed and if I should go with the bullet or race valve.
