Default Procharger 3 Core Intercooler worth it?

I came across this ad on craigslist and was wondering if it was really worth 550.00. I'm not sure if that's a good deal or not. Wouldn't a front mount setup be better?

Any tips on a DIY front mount? Or maybe a kit? I didn't see a write up or anything. I'd do it if it's an improvement, but it can't break the bank.

Thanks fellas!

Just do a search on here for "FMIC", and for "front mount". You should get alot of good information, and alot of good pics. Once you see the pics, and think about it, start shopping the classifieds, ebay, and our sponsors here on the boards. You can buy a kit, or piece one together.

If you still need more info or sources, you can send me a pm.

Like AK said, do a search on eBay. You can fit a 27x12x3 between the front bumber mounts and it will bolt right to your radiator support. Just climb under your truck and figure out what pipe (straights or j-bends) and silicone connectors & clamps you'll need to go from the the old location to the new FMIC.

Search for "CXRacing Intercooler Front Mount 27x12x3" on eBay to get an idea of the size FMIC you can fit.

This is a picture of my old 31x12x4 FMIC but you have to notch the bumper mounts. Just go with the 27" version so you don't have to cut anything.
