I dont think its too small... but it should spool up quick... PT88's are great turbos i say slap it on and see how ya like it. its easier to buy another turbo than build another motor... IMO

It all depends on how much you are actually trying to get out of your setup. If it is going to be all out race setup on race gas and you plan to spin the **** out of I then the pt88 will run out on top. If it is more of a crazy *** street setup then the 88 will spool quickly on that motor and will be a lot of fun. You could always go ahead and upgrade the Turbo to a gt series and you wouldn't have to worry about it.

i don't have the money to upgrade turbo, get kyle to redo my kit, ect...
would be real easy to sell my motor parts and buy new ones and put money in my pocket
but this truck is being built for the street and will do whatever 93 pump gas will allow it to do!!

that is something else..
why can my 331ci 8.9:1cr modular motor make 719rwhp@20psi w/76mm through a 4r100 trans
but
408ci 9.2:1cr ls motor with 16psi through a 88mm only make 853rwhp through a 4l80e and lifted a head??
it seems like the LS motors don't like the boost like the MOD motors do or am i wrong??

the pt88 will work just fine on that 408. what A/R housing does it have?
