Default PCV Issue

Since the search function is not working, I'll just ask. I have recently put a P1SC on my stock 6.0. The last two time I have got into boost it has blown the dipstick out and blown oil every where. I know that this is a pvc issue. My question is..would it also blow oil into the intake? The 1st time it did it the motor ran like crap for about 1 minute then cleared up and ran fine. The 2nd time it did not clear up and runs very rich. When I start it is runs fine until it goes into closed loop. It then pegs my wide band at 10.0 and runs like . Think it has messed up my O2 sensors or is it something else? Any thoughts would help.

Well first question, how is your PCV currently set up? If it runs fine until it goes into closed loop, thats a clear indicator that your O2 sensors are plugged up.. In that case your intake is likely drenched in oil.

My current PCV setup is stock which I now realize is not correct. I haven't had problems with it until yesterday. I have no blow by as far as i can tell.

My PCV seems to get the job done.. Check valve that flows from driver side valve cover to intake, and between that and the valve cover, you put a catch can. Easy and works well. If you don't have that check valve and your passenger side valve cover is hooked up after the blower, its gonna make that dipstick into a miniature rocket every time it sees boost.

Should you be able to blow through the fixed orfice PCV in both directions?

So you think my intake is full of oil and my O2's are muffed which is causing my rich condition?

No, you should not. Boost does not belong in the crank case.

Considering it runs fine until you go into closed loop, I'd say O2 sensors need to be inspected and cleaned.

I am going to put a catch can on the dirty side with a check valve. Will I need to vent the passenger side and leave it hooked up factory or cap it off and vent?

Now that I think about it , I guess i wouldn't need to change any thing on the clean side as long as the check valve works properly on the dirty side. Let me know if I am wrong

I have the check valve on drivers side from intake to drivers vc. Pass side used to go to inlet side of supercharger but I plugged the procharger intake... just ran pass side vc to a breathered puke can. Hope this helps.
