Oil Drain Line Backing Up?

Default Oil Drain Line Backing Up?

Hey guys I just recently took my IC pipes off to redo the routing and found oil inside them. Since then I have changed the straight fitting on the bottom of the turbo to a 45* pointing towards the radiator. This allowed me to make the hose shorter/steeper while maintaining clearance of the crank pulley. I have a straight -10AN fitting in the pan and even a restrictor (forget what size) in the oil feed line.

After all of these changes I am still getting a little oil in my pipes. Does my line look steep enough? Suggestions?

straighter downer the better....

wouldnt hurt to step up to a -12 also.

Can you get a side on pic. That angle over the rad hose might be flat hard to tell.

Oil in the pipe. Was it a film or dripping oil?

Yea I may end up doing that

Here is another picture... It's still kind of hard to tell anything from it

Flip the hose around if possible.
Try routing on back side of radiator hose. Zip tie if need be.
The trim access hose off to new shorter length.

Was the oil drain flange a 3/8npt or 1/2npt?

Oil in cold pipe might have nothing to do with drain. It might be draining fine.

You should be having some smoke out the tailpipe if it wasn't draining enough I would imagine. Turbo seals might be shot.

The hole in my pan is on the front towards the drivers side so the 45* would almost be horizontal down there. The flange is 1/2npt.

Heres a picture of the oil in the pipe with maybe 50 miles since I cleaned it out. BTW this is just a non-IC kit straight to the TB.

It does smoke a little when I get on it but I'm thinking thats just from not having the tune dialed in while in boost (doesn't at idle). I know master powers are cheaper but I wouldn't think the seals would be shot after only 20k miles?
