NNBS Twin Turbo Build
#1
Started the build of my 2007 NNBS twin turbo setup.
Motor
full bolt on)
Stock 5.3
Comp Cam 224/230
LS7 lifters
7.4 pushrods
PAC springs
Fuel Setup:
walbro 450 return style with Magnafuel fuel regulator
100 lb/hr bosch fuel injectors
Custom Fuel rails
-8AN feed line
-6AN return line
Turbo Setup:
Twin Borg Warner 60/68 .88AR T4
JGS 50 mm Wastegates
JGS 60mm BOV
Treadstone 3.5 Core intercooler
Start of the build was the fuel pump assembly with the walbro 450 intank in the stock bucket. Made this custom pump fixture that was riveted to the bucket itself and held on with a collar. All gates 5/16 hose was used in the bucket and -8 AN fittings and through the hat to the fuel rails.

Next was starting to build the Hotside. I took a different route in doing this being that my truck couldn't be decommissioned being that it was my daily at the time. I ended up creating a mock up block on solidworks in order to be able to create all piping on the bench. I ended up using 2.5 SCH10 pipe for the hotside pipes along with the stock manifolds flipped forward.

Oil pan drilled on either side then weld bungs were welded on to fit a -10AN return line

Also on the driver side i used the oil cooler block off plate to supply oil for the turbos

Intercooler was mounted to the A-frame with custom brackets i had made out of stainless.

More to come as things are completed. Please comment with any questions or suggestions to better the build.

How much you willing to pay. it was my first time making it off of rough dimensions and it ended working pretty well. This was my first time doing a pump in a bucket so didnt know what was the best what to mount it in place

Are you changing the front bumper? As it sits there seems to be very little air flow to the intercooler. I probably would have gone ahead and set up for twin fuel pumps with the secondary one activated with a hobbs switch....you might get addicted to the BOOST! LOL.
I like it. Keep the info coming.
