Default New Truck Guy

Just bought a 2000 ecsb silverado 2 weeks ago at an auction. I figure I've had it long enough to start modding.

It has 190K on it but it runs like a dream, man these engines are bad ***.

My wife & I just finished up a 98 ls1 block with 3.903 mahle piston, eagle rods, 317 heads with dual springs, & a z06 cam. I think we will throw it in there in a couple of weeks & leave the rest stock to see how it runs etc.

Then we are going to fab up a rear mount using a tc76 turbo I have left over from another project. I know the FM's perform better etc but I have always wanted to do one of these.

Still unsure of how to do the fuel pump(s) and lines. I want boost ref set up with the mototron 60's like I run in my turbo f bod. I want to use the stock fuel rails & line, maybe T off right before the rail with a FPR & return line? I want it to be a rock solid daily driver & quiet. I run 2 walbros in my f bod but I don't know how the truck tank it set up yet. I have a lot of research to do.

OK Cool, I'll look at it better. I noticed a second line the rail but it looked like the gas tank vent system on an f bod?

Lots to learn, LOL

Here is the truck, engine bay, & new engine ready to go in. Paid 4550.00 for the truck & it's really nice although it's high mileage.

Note the oil feed & return fiiting hooked up with plugs installed so I can run it a while before the turbo goes in.
