Whats up!

Bought the truck in October, had the turbo system on at the end of Jan, loving this thing!

Heres a quick video I threw together of what footage I have of it: 6 2 80MM Silverado - YouTube

I dont know a whole lot about the capabilities of these trucks as far as their drivetrain: From what I've seen it looks like I have the 9.5" 14B rear?

I plan to build the trans next month so I can turn off the torque management and also get a good stall in this B***. and soon after be turning the boost up, I want 800 at the wheels till I build the motor next year for 1000.

Soon though, I will need to launch in 4wd, so I am concerned about the T-case, u-joints, front axles etc.

any pointers on what I can expect to break and what I can do to upgrade???

Thanks guys, happy to be on the site!

Looks good.
Sounds great.

I noticed you routed the psi pipe off the compressor different then we do.

Thank you,

Yeah that's the only way it would work with that turbo which I sourced elsewhere, it had a 3.5" psi discharge, and 4" hotside outlet

transfer cases and cv shafts hold power as long as they don't have lifts or nasty angles

There are plenty of members launching in 4wd with no issues whatsoever that run 10s and even 9s on stock cases and suspension as long as its not lifted or diesel. I would recommend limiting straps on the front end if you don't want to hop all over the track though.
