Well in that case, since this isn't for the Denali, I'd just wait for the max effort 2300 to become available and learn to be more patient

maybe take up some yoga in the meantime!

Hmmm, After reading all of Brian's post I understand what he is saying and...BRIAN WHEN YOU WAKE UP I WANT TO PUT THE 2300 TVS ON A 4.8L, I THINK THEY WOULD BE MATCHED PERFECTLY WITH EACH OTHER!!

Anyways, good reading brian and thanks for expaining the target market for the new TVS's. Good stuff!

Similar experience with MP112 on 4.8.

As I understand it, the TVS is intended to supplement the MP line, not replace it. The MP line is designed for stock and near-stock engines, and the TVS is for large displacement (> 400 CID) crate and custom-build engines. Apparently, simply scaling up the MP to a larger unit was not practical, so Eaton went to a different design.

Now the $64 Billion question is: Can the TVS design be scaled downwards to replace the MP line with more efficient units? I think only Eaton and/or Magnusson know the answer, but time will tell.
