After some real close looking at this. When the Bosch injector is installed and pulled all the way down. You can see the top groove level with the bottom of the fuel rail.
About .250 from the middle of the oring. I cannot see the oring in the rail at all.
Should seal. I can move the injector up and down right now but it appears to be staying engaged in the rail.
From all the way up to all the way down I am seeing right at .115 movement. Not much.
For a tighter fit.
We can do custom rails
Modify these rails
build small oring spacers for under the injector.
Custom injectors are a no go I think. Not real cost effective.
I took some pics. Post them up later.

Here are some final pics. Some are blurry, but you'll get the idea. The rail stops at the first groove on the 48lb injectors I was using. I could not see the oring.
You can see the size difference in the cores, plus the larger core is thicker.
