I didn't think my iat's were too bad with my 1900 running 8.5psi on my 6L. I think maggies just got a bad rep from the radix iat issues some folks had. Personally, I have nothing bad to say about the tvs'. I just should have went with the 2300 to feed my larger motor up to the 12-14psi I eventually wanted. IMO, you can't get a better bolt on package for a daily driver, it truly is bolt on and forget, well besides the rest of the drive train that needs to handle all the torque...

Per the help, I have always thought the 30* over ambient we run is pretty damn good....and certainly better than the ole trusty 112.

this inter cooler would be for the non-jackshaft models right? My intercooler looks different than that and the ports where coolant enters the intercooler are way higher than mine.

The inlet and outlets are higher, because of the spacing the IC will see on the inside. We are lowering from the upper slightly. Trying to give the air a little more room to spread out.
I think the IC can be flipped the way these intakes look. I have a jackshaft intake here. I will try it out prior to completing this one. Just about to wrap this all up.
There are alot of little pieces that go into something like this.

Not too much to report.
Nitrous plate is done, core is done, installed and sealed up. You can see the size difference really well in these pics. I will have more later.
One problem you will have with this set up is the fuel rail height. You either will have to swap to a taller injector, or do some custom fuel rails, or modify the stock rails that maggie sends with there stuff.
One of the pics shows some 48lb bosch units I have here for mock ups. With these injectors installed the rails bolt down fine.

We did make new silicone spacers and pulled the ic away from the blower about .175. The IC is still close to the bottom but farther away then the stock unit.
Completely removed the stock water inlet adapter on the back side. So we can keep the water flow hi. The stock unit is pretty but the ID holes are pretty small compared to the ID holes on the new inlet, outlet..

We had to weight on longer bolts.

Here are a few pics, I will get some more up soon.

NOW for the diy installer. There are small tweaks that have to be made on the fly while installing the IC. So any future builds will require the blower unit be here at our shop.
