Default muster

can’t seem to muster better than a 14.3 @ 97 mph. Gotta 05 Yukon Denali with whipple 2.3 with 3.00” pulley, stock fuel pump with bap, airaid tb, airaid open filter element, whipple injectors and rails, corvette servo, moroso catchcan and tune. Everything else all stock.

Did you ever get a boost gauge?

That is a decent MPH but it must have a very slow 60 foot and half track times.

what tires are you running? what pressure?
how tame is your tune? how much torque management does it use?
what gears in your diff?
shift RPM?

how long have you been drag racing? what vehicles are you used to racing in?

stock size AT/S awd tires. Stock pressure at around 40-45 psi. Pat G tuned it so I know it’s straight. I don’t have the specifics on the tune though, I asked for them but I didn’t get them. I’m not sure about the TM, I asked him about that too but went on deaf ears. I believe the stock 05 Yukon Denali rear gears are 3:42 if I’m not mistaken. I intentionally haven’t done a lot to the truck as far as converter, exhaust, cam etc. it’s my daily plus I run at the track for S&G’s every once in awhile to get the kids out of the house sleeper style

Post #45 I uploaded his datalogs for him.
but without a 2 BAR Map and no boost gauge I don't see much that can be gathered from them.

honestly, my point was that simply saying "i've got a blower on my truck but can only run xx.x time - what's wrong?" is too open-ended.
there're SO many variables that go into answering that question. often times, it can be chocked up to driver inexperience, too... as in the Stig could drive a Pinto & likely beat Gomer Pyle driving a Ferrari.

i'd be willing to bet you could knock a couple tenths off the launch if you weren't aired up to street pressure (and obviously not just flooring it with that much torque on stock components). 3.42s with an automatic & 6000lb definitely won't be an acceleration monster... and the stock exhaust ain't known for quickly evacuating over-pressurized, high-RPM gases - so it's likely running out of steam at the top of the shift.

but this is all speculation on my part because i don't know you or your truck.

wow…a lot of unnecessary commentary for such a simple question mainly geared towards members with similar setups/experiences. Clearly everyone commenting has 10 second trucks and have never starred out somewhere

14.3 @ 97 sounds pretty darn good to me with 178k, 2005, 5820 with me in it, stock exhaust, stock trans, stock converter, stock gearing, stock fuel pump, stock cam, stock heads and valvetrain and driver mod

Why is it that nearly every post you make you end up butt hurt because people ask you questions to try and help instead of just flipping a magical switch and fixing everything?

You are running a stock Denali with a whipple. Those run 15.3-15.5 stock. You are running 14.3. That’s a complete second faster. If you go by the rule of thumb of 10hp equals .10 sec then you have gained a 100hp which is about right. Suffice to say, that’s about all you are going to get without doing more to the truck.
