Right now I have my current 60e with trucool and what I want/plan to do is keep the trucool installed so I can run it with the 80e and have the intercooler in front also and right now Im kinda puzzled on how or if I can make it work.. thx

Which inter cooler do you have?
Changes how the pipes are routed.

That pic is off of a 2010 gmc.
The core is 4" thick. Your 3" still should have enough room to go in front of your ic.

Don't worry about air flow over all.

Going to be very tight around your head lights. I just noticed your trucks pic.
Might have to mount it down low.

Just posted this in another thread in regards to IC and placement

Both sides look the same. Tried to get them as symetrical as possible. Polished stainless where you can see, then cut and made the rest of the PC piping work with the front mount.. Forgive the dirtyness, it has been raining and snowing for a bit, have not been able to really clean under the hood. ( yes the blower has been reclocked)

Also have the big tru cool trans cooler in front of the radiator..
