okay, that settles it. Im gettin a DMax I/C and fab'ing it up. I will save a bunch of money and im sure i can make it work. Whats the best way to fab up the blower outlet and manifold inlet flange? 3/8" solid stock aluminum? This will be more rewarding anyway. I am going to start searching Ebay for the DMax cooler and get it going. The difficult part will be fabing up the flanges and the plumbing. If anyone has any suggestions, hints, or tips im all ears.

 

a duramax intercooler fits right where your radiator bolts to now. to use a dmax intercooler you are gonna need to use the dmax rad.also to make it fit properly. our radiators sit right where the dmax intercooler goes and then the dmaxrad bolts to the intercooler. this is what i'm doing to mine when i add a turbo to it later this summer. if you know someone who has one you will see what i'm talking about.

 

im gonna try and find some pictures, sure would be nice to find a way to make it sit in front of the radiator (closer to the grill) rather than removing the coolers and radiator. Is the core support the same?
