Default Another FMIC question...

I know this has probably been covered numerous times but i couldn't exactly find what i wanted in the search results. I have 04 silverado and i would like to do away with the procharger 2 core flat i/c with airdam and go to a fmic. What is the best spot on the front? I see guys with gmc's mounting them real low in the valance cutouts but the chevy is a solid design. This is a z71 and i use it like a truck (mud, snow, towing, etc) so too low is not good for me.

I know the popular i/c is the 27x12x3 ebay special... which i am ok with purchasing if it's the best option. But i have a 3 core procharger i/c on hand if it will work. Here's a pic of the 3 core just sitting in the grill area for a reference of where i would really like to have it (because of the full exposure to the air) So let me know where all you guys are mounting them. Thanks

That ought to work where its at. I've seen them mounted low like you were saying, but where it has the three vertical insets on the Chevy lower valance, the plastic was cut out.

That's a sweet setup blue. Right what i was looking for. Is that the 30x12x3 ebay cooler and intercooler plumbing kit? Do you tow with your ride? You ever have any cooling issues? Thanks for the pics.
