Just an update to an old thread. I just replaced all of my intercooler/heat exchanger hoses with 3/4" inside-diameter (ID) heater hoses, the kit comes with 5/8" ID. They cost $1.49 per foot at O'Reilly's and, IIRC, I needed about 12', but since it's cheap, I would get a few extra feet just in case. The 5/8" T-fitting with the screw cap I left off as it looks like a serious bottleneck, it goes down to probably 1/2" or 3/8" ID.

You are increasing the cross-sectional area by 44%, so you are increasing the total volume of the system by 0.34 quarts, or 19.44 cu in (assuming 12' of hose). I don't know if the larger hose increases flow or if flow speed is determined by the smallest bottleneck, probably the intercooler. Someone with more experience than me please chime in about that.

I also picked up some 3/4" to 1" neoprene pipe insulation from Home Depot for $8 and zip-tied it around the hose returning from the h/e to the intercooler to keep the fluid as cool as possible and keep underhood temps from heating the hose. Might only make a 2* difference, but it was only $8 and took 5 minutes to put on. When I put my finger on the heater hose underneath the insulation after I've been driving for a bit, the hose is actually cool to the touch, so I do believe it is doing some good.

I want to see one of the Blower guys run a hose from the SC, to the pump, to the heater core, to the super charger.
Run with the AC on recirculate and report back.

It worked awesome for my turbo setup. Different animal, yes, but it worked for it.

I wrapped the hose carrying water from the heat exchanger back to the intercooler, so it should be at its coolest point. There would probably be a benefit to wrapping all of the hoses as I bet the underhood temps are hotter than the water leaving the intercooler, but I would have to research that first.

Power wise, not sure. I put down 400/450 in 98* Houston summer before the GT2-3 cam. I am guessing somewhere in the 450/500 on a cool day with the cam; the cam made a world of difference past 3000rpm.

I also wrapped my CAI box in foil insulation foam for the attic I picked up from home depot. Cost $24 and I can actually tell a difference, truck feels peppier around town. I will post up more later, at work right now. Here's a sneak peek:
