Default LS9 or SLP Supercharger Upgrade?

Hey guys, Ive never posted in this section. In the summer, I built a 408 LQ4 with LS3 heads/intake. Right now its running 11.4:1 compression. Its a daily driver and I'm a sick bastard. Always thinking of the next upgrade. Lately, I've been thinking about the LS9 2300 supercharger or the new SLP supercharger upgrade. Both inercooled and fits the LS3 heads.

What would you guys do to get compression down to where it needs to be to daily drive a supercharged motor? I live in Las Vegas so summers are brutal. What comp ratio would you shoot for?

Can you easily run 8 lbs of boost with 9.5 compression?

ls2's are at about 11:1 compression and they can easily take 8#s

How do they do that? You don't have to run race fuel with that compression and boost?

What blown motor would run better? A 9.5 compression motor or an 11:1 with less timing?

Obviously you could run more boost with the 9.5 without seeing knock but higher compression makes more power as well...?

or you can get a custom cam that is meant to lower your dynamic compression ratio...

Yes that is what I would do if I was going to run the 11.4 compression pistons. I'm just wondering what motor would run better...

A 9.5 compression motor or an 11:1 with less timing?
