I don't know yet, haven't pulled it. Was doing a boosted launch, got to 8psi and BOOM! No forward gears, only reverse.

How much do you guys have in your 80e setups? From what I am seeing it looks like $5k swap if not more. I deffinitely can't afford that right now so I'm getting scared.

2wd guys have it easy, us 4wd guys it's a PIA. I think I'm gona go with a used tranny and shift kit. Might try rebuilding it myself, but still looking into it...

yeah kb... they are both electric pumps, but I know how much gas I have. Fuel pumps generally seem to last a lot longer being that they don't live in a corrosive liquid all of the time, and when you truck runs outta gas it stalls the motor completely not causing a buch of knock and detonation right?

I used a stock 80e and it ran about 1700.00 including a 2800 Art Carr tq. converter.
I ran 12 psi through a 370 with 42 lb injectors and meth. It made about 600 to the ground.

Sound like it's a BEAST!!
If the fuel pump dies you aren't likely spraying enough meth to keep it running. It should stall. If the meth quits you'll likely just run lean and detonate to a cracked piston.
