Lost boost after intake and 80e swap

It sounds like the new intercooler is more restrictive. Actual VE has dropped post-intercooler because of the restriction so there is less boost after the intercooler, hence the added richness. On that same note, you may also be seeing better IATs because the air is being forced through a more efficient intercooler.

Either way, this isn't a case in which you can just move the boost reference like you could for a turbo. You'll need to retune for it.

So I'm going to need a better intercooler. Only thing is there's not much room where I have it now

Also a broken bypass valve could cause this same senerio.

If VE was tuned correctly before then AFR should not be that rich if he is 2bar. I can lower my boost and maintain the proper AFR because now you are just using a lower section of your VE table.

I only have one section of the boost ve table tuned. And it was for 9-10 psi.

turns out that the wideband sensor was bad. I replaced it and AFR is spot on at 11.8-12.2

If you went from the ProCharger 3 core intercooler to an eBay unit at the dimensions you listed, you downgraded yourself.

Well the 3 core iat went from 100-170* in one run. The new setup went from 70-77 in the same run
