Default Lost boost after intake and 80e swap

Before my 60e broke I would see about 9-10 psi at 6200. Now I have a fmic, and 4" intake tube, a larger intake filter, and the Recirculation valve is vented to atmosphere. And I'm only getting 7-8 psi and is running bed rich. I'm thinking its the recirculation valve bleeding boost. Any other ideas?

If anything the 80e will load it more helping boost a bit due to the gear ratios. Something must be leaking.

I may swap the old filter back on and have the recirc valve go back into the pre procharger filter and see if that helps

That would be a good place to start.

I also made a boost leak tester. I just need an air compressor and need to find a way to seal the exhaust tip.

looking at your first post here you did change alot, I am sure the tranny change didnt make a difference. looks like you added a FMIC and different intake system. I would look at all your new connections.

Good point, I couldn't remember what all was changed. Andy if you went to a larger intercooler that could be part of it.

You fmic and new intake flow better, which results in less boost ( less restriction) but more overall power.

A better flowing intake pre blower can raise boost, better flowing piping and intercooler after the blower can lower boost if flow is increased.

This, but did you do the intake manifold, FMIC at the same time? The truck prob is just as fast just less boost. Boost is a restriction number as stated.
