I was at 106 mph with the 347/mp112 (11# peak boost) & the 3.90 rear, and now 104 mph with the 383/122hh & 3.42 rear. I have no doubt that she will break the 110 mph trap mark...just wondering how many mods/changes will be required to get there.

I have more things I can do other than those I've listed previously. I can mill the AFR 72cc heads to get the compression up, port the NW throttle body & j-tube to 96mm, its already on a SD tune so I can remove the MAF and fab up a 4" intake, and finally, if all else fails I'll move my 90mm plate kit from my GTO. I WILL NOT BE DENIED!

I just don't think all of that should be necessary...we'll see, I guess.

I think 115 mph should be attainable. Might be hard, but I think it is within reach. I have trapped 115 several times. I am hoping to get another 1-2 mph with my next round of mods.

For reference, i am running 28" tall Hoosiers and crossing the traps at about 4900rpm.

My race weight is probably around 5100 pounds. Definately a difference in weight at 6-700 pounds. I think 110+ is possible, just going to take work. I am going to try on the 29th with you guys. I want to see the 2300 in action.

I know I'm beginning to sound like a broken record but I believe in the potential of my setup.

I have a slight cubic liter advantage over the 6.0L, I'm running a Alkycontrol meth setup as well which I originally installed to ensure that I had enough fuel (no lean out on top end) with the 42# inj that came with the MP112 kit--but I want to get rid of it, get an in-tank Walbro 340 in-tank pump and keep the Walbro in-line pump to supplement the in-tank unit.

And even tho you likely did not take it that way, I'm not discounting your setup any what-so-ever...in fact, your setup gives me even more confidence that more can be wrung out of mine.

My big concern at the moment is that I spoke to Rick about my 2-3 shifts being slow at the track, and he believes that it may be "flaring"--a predication of possible failure! Not what I want to believe but something I have been fearing/anticipating.

What's up Colby.
I firmly believe in your setup. That big ol monster can suck all kinds of air but its got no where to put it.That exhaust you run leaves a lot on the table. When I heard you get on it you could hear the restriction.I got a nice 4" inlet outlet magnaflow with your name on it if you want it.

2-3 is a issue on the 4l70e on the supercharged and nitroused trailblazer ss also. youw ill have to adjust the rpm down from 2-3 to see if that helps if it still hits the limtier then set 2-3 shift 3 mph down and try it out.
