Tire Change and yank 3600 stall 12s. Stock tune, stock intake everything else stock. Going for a record maybe i can race against you that run if your goin on the 15th. I shoudl be in the 12.70-12.80s
Wed 4/15 should work out good for me. I would like to get it into Synergy to work on the shift points first, but they aren't affecting WOT operation anyway, I don't believe. So, should not be a show stopper.

sweet ill pm you that tuesday night. Ill be headed up there leaving work at 130 that wed. Keep me in the loop i think me and you will be a good race.

yank 3600 stall and FLT trans and 275 40 17 drag rads are my only mod. I ran 13.3 before so im hoping that ill at least run high 12s now. I trapped 103.97 last time seeing you trapped 105.9 im sure you will eat me up but it will be a close run.

What is yoru race weight anyway in yoru truck. Im at about 5200 with me in it? i know my buddys 2wd yukon was at 5700 with him and 2 12s in it.

I understand your pain..... I have gone to the track the last 3 times and not made it past the 330' mark witout throwing some code that puts me into reduced engine mode. All this money in the motor and I run slower than I did stock...ha Hope to see a time soon.

Sounds good to me. I'm not real sure what to expect from it at this point. The last runs (12.70 @ 105.96) was with the 3.90 gear and the old tune (496/525). With the 3.42 & Rick's new tune (553/585) I'm hoping for much better. As for weight, it is right in there with your buddy's. The Radix added some weight but the LS6 block took much of that back off...depending on how accurate the logging truck scale was, 5990# with me, the 120# wife & 100# dog and 1/2 tank of fuel. So subtract the 220# for "the family" and its 5770# +/-.

Its been pretty good as far as engine reliability...until this last attempt to get to the track, that is--the "Racing Gods" just weren't with me last Wednesday. I still need to figure out if I have a pulley alignment issue going on--the belt didn't shred itself. The 122hh and HD idler have 8-rib pullies, so, hopefully the problem was that the belt was just not aligned in the proper grooves there, and that caused the shredding--if not, I'll know soon enough.

After I installed my 122 I noticed the pulley alignment issue. The pulley goes on with the offset towards the blower (numbers side). This fixed my belt issues.

Thanks...I believe mine installed correctly but I'll definitely confirm that.

It's easy to get it bassackwards. A shop (who will remain nameless) with a good rep put mine on that way. Easy to spot if you're looking for it.

That is the plan! I really want to get those "baseline" runs in so I can install the following pieces individually and measure the improvements of each:

1st - Dynatech LTs
2nd - 8-rib 8" crank pulley set
3rd - Speed Inc. SC1 cam
4th - 4.10 gears Detroit Truetrac

Not sure when it will happen, but a 4L80e will go in when the FLT IV 4L60e gives out...

Also, I've about had it with the meth kit I have...it spews white smoke like a steam engine every now & then, I'm guessing that there is a bad valve or solenoid or something? Anyway, I want that out and want to add an in-tank pump setup to ensure fuel delivery, at some point in the near future.
