The TVS units have a little room to go up. The IC core is already pretty deep into the tub though. A comparison of adding a 3/4" spacer vs adding 3/4" to the IC core would be interesting.

On the Radix units yould have to cut the runners out of the tub to gain any space- basically converting it into a TVS style tub.

I had clearance issues with my 122s Jtube coming within 1/4" or so of the firewall, cant imagine going any higher than that. TVS is a whole 'nother story.

It's a 1" spacer, and yes it raises the intercooler off the floor of the tub! and 100 ft of torque i would say! Just my guess of coarse, my two dynos sessions were quite revealing. without my spacer... 590rwhp on a dynojet, with it.... 714rwhp on a mustang.

increasing the plenum volume does wonders to bigger cube combo's,heat isolation is a plus and lastly increased fuel injectors provide the much needed fuel for those little extra ponies....

I have a 1/2" of cowl clearance left. for those that have the room should def try to take advantage of it.

What makes the roush kits interesting is how they create space between the rotor and the intercooler, the that extra space between the two allow more surface area contact on the intercooler vs ours being placed right on it.

Imagine a template using spray paint paint goes on nice and tight, creating a confined image, minimal surface contact. Now take that same template and raise it up an inch or two, that same template creates a larger image, more surface contact occurs in theory using more intercooler surface.

cant do that on a jack shaft version due to seperate mounting of shaft and rotor group.

could do that on a radix though, if you had the cowl room

The only change between pulls was the spacer?!?! That's crazy... I need to start doing my homework and get this going on mine!
