Default Intercooler Questions

Does anyone have the specs on the size of the Air to Air intercoolers that STS uses? Or what size intercoolers are you guys running? I am trying to decide what size intercooler to go with, I have started the process of building one for my Kenne Bell. I have looked at various OBX intercoolers however I am not sure what size I should go with. Any help would be great.

That's pretty much a worth less statement, and doesn't contribute at ALL!

I too am running an eBay type OBX and have MUCH lower intake temps then all the radix postings that I have see. Same sizes as Dans. I'm very happy with it!!

You could always use a tranny cooler as an IC!!!

Wkdiver- Bill that is enough, oh and let me see you push above 11psi. Merry Christmas, Ill give you a ring in the next couple days hopefully we can get my fan temps set.

99Silver- Tranny cooler as a intercooler? What? Not sure I follow you on that one.

Rest of you guys- Yes I like the OBX intercoolers and those are the ones that I am looking at, do any of you guys have pics of them mounted? Thanks

Are you guys finding that ebay is the best place to get them? I looked on there and found many that I believe were that size, if I recal they were like $250 or so, does that sound right?

Is there a reason for the air to air on a twin screw type set up? I thought most people with the KB or Whipple went with air to water. Just curious.

I have always prefered air to air over air to water, one of the main reasons is less clutter in the engine bay. I have talked with many people and all say that air to air is the prefered way to go if feasable.

Fullthrottledan- Thanks for the pic, I would love to mount mine like that but since I have the 34in radiator I cannot run the piping like you did, at least I dont believe so. Has anyone seen it done like that with a 34in rad?
