Doesnt look like Im gonna change any mindsets here but my vote is still for the ls6 its a proven perfomer well past the truck intake, I like its rpm range better and it makes sense with a big stall plus with the power/dollar aspect 300 bucks its worth it.

BTW: Parish for what its worth I think an ls6 intake would work well on your current setup and would be worth a couple tenths.

Looks like a 408 at 14psi of boost and 6000rpm will use 78.5 lbs/min of airflow.

With a T76 that will put you just outside the island.

Whereas a T88 would put you in the island.

Parish would be the guy with the real world experience on this situation though.

there is no doubt the t76 is too small of a turbo for a 408. at 14psi the 76 was maxed out and whiping up the air. the t76 was a lot of fun though. instant boost, prety much no lag at all. the 88 had significant lag. i am told some of the other turbos out there like the gt47's that will make more power than the 76 with less lag than the 88. they are really big though so there is always some compromise.

where do you come up with that? while drag racing i dont go under 5000rpm other than the first 100feet and at that point i can't hold traction.

my vote is it doesn't really matter wich intake you use. the turbo will make the power no matter what the set up is.

The 1500 rpms from 5k-6500 I think the ls6 would make more than the truck or the vic jr. Just an idea.
I thought you had a 4k stall and where shifting at 6600?
my vote is for thinking of the engine as a unit working togethor instead of individual parts, slapped togethor call me crazy
