Looking for advice on intake manifold selection for a 15psi 408 motor. If the stock truck manifold will do fine I'll just go with that, but since I've been s/c'ed since I got into this stuff I really haven't paid attention to what has worked well for other setups. Recommendations?
Also - I'm thinking I'll need to step up to 60# injectors. I'm going to be running the stock in-tank pump and the Walbro inline from the Radix kit. 42#'ers were maxing out with a stock 6.0L and 9psi, so I doubt they will be enough for the new setup. Also - are stock fuel rails enough for something like this?
Thanks!

hmm, you might be able to get away with 60# injectors but the fuel pump might be an issue. I ended up going with 72lb injectors and a HUGE aeromotive pump along with the speed-eng 1000hp fuel system. Also got the vic jr intake and Nick williams 90mm TB. Probably overkill, but, we'll see. Best of luck.

I would go with a Vic Jr. intake manifold hands down. Don't waste time with the stock one and run the risk of leaning out old #7.
So what brought on this sudden urge to build a turbo 408? Why not just put the new MP122 on it since you have the Radix setup already?

I think my end goals will be better suited by a turbo setup overall.

Well, I'd buy that LQ9 off of you because I garauntee it's not that bad. Did you do a compression test on it? You could always build off that block, crank and rods to save some coin. Check out the 4 digit numbers guys on tech are making with 347's and 370's.
Either way a Victor Jr. is where its at.
What are your power goals? That will tell us what injectors and fuel pump(s) you should use.

with good fuel over 600rwhp with the same 76 i had. should be over 700rwhp with the right 76(gts76?).
if you looking for much more than 700rwhp then you will need something bigger than a 76 and at that point a 408 might be nice to help reduce lag.
