As I recall I did top mine off 2,3 or 4 times and I checked it everyday maybe more than once lol. You are probably ok. I sure am hoping!

Hookup a battery tender, turn key on, open the cap and let it run for about 30mins. Should get all the air out.

The tank isn't 4 gallons, got roughly 2.5 gallons in the whole system and it was full.
