IAT wiring question

Thanks Justin and Wilde Racing, I guess I will go that route. What I originally was gonna do is just run all new wires from the new IAT straight to the PCM.

If you wire the IAT directly to the PCM you have to delete the one in the MAF. The PCM is only set up to run one IAT signal.

I was just going to clip the factory wire coming from the MAF. Was gonna do it about six inches away from the PCM and then solder the new wire on in its place.

This other method should work just fine if I can locate the wires correctly.

i just did this to my vortech , i cut the wires about 8 inches from the maf and then connect them to the new iat harness and didnt need to add any wire , it came out nice , now i can see how hot my **** really gets but surprisingly enough they dont get that hot.

Thanks Chase. Yeah, I cut my wires about the same length from the MAF. It was a PITA to route the wires back through all the stock spaghetti tubing to the manifold, but I got her done. Works like a charm.
