Default I have a boosted dilema. opinions please

Well I have had my truck for 3 years, and have been plagued with Reduced Engine Power. I have seen people run into this problem, and I have never seen anyone resolve it. I have everything in my sig. I am just at the point where I am maxing out my 2 bar. Whenever the boost gets high, it goes into REP. I have exhausted every possible solution that I know of to resolve the problem with no luck. I have talked to numerous people, any nobody has a resolution. I basically have a few options.

1. Get rid of the truck.

2. Try to switch to a cable TB (Many people say it can be done, but after a ton of looking I can't find anyone).

3. Switch to a turbo as I have never seen the P2101 problem when you are pushing air through the TB.

4. Find another option.

Any thoughts

Ive read alot of your threads/posts about the issue for quite some time.

At what point did you begin getting REP? What was the last mod/change right before?

How much boost are you running and on what size engine? Just trying to get a idea of how much air you are moving. I forget, have you tried the LS3 TB?

And I thought you had the issue fixed/semi fixed when you put on the LS7 TB, something about a stiffer throttle spring?

I did all of my mods at once, and have had REP the whole time. I initially had a 2.9 pulley on the truck, and occasionally got it. I switched to a 2.6 pulley, and got it more often with a 90mm LS7 TB. I switched to an 87mm truck TB, and it seemed to go away. I ended up putting a 10% OD crank pulley on, and now I get it every time the RPM's hit about 6k. When I watch a log, you can see the blade slightly closing right before I get it. I am only assuming that I wouldn't get it with a turbo. I really don't know what is happening inside the TB, I can only assume the TPS is accurate. Part of me would like to figure it out for my own piece of mind, and to help others. Also my truck came optionally with a supercharger.

Actually it goes into REP easier when I have the LS3/LS7 TB on it. The truck TB seems to hold better.

I have even thought about trying to find Neodymium Iron Boron magnets for the motor in the TB so they would hold stronger.

I am right around 16psi and I have a 5.3. I actually think I am maxing out the intercooler as my boost didn't go up much when I added the 10% OD crank pulley and the 8 groove belt system.

Just so you know the LS7 and LS3 tb's are not the same.

I know I've been reading about your troubles with this for a long time. I think I've asked before, but I'm old & just can't remember......... Are you using HPT or EFI?

Has your tuner made any changes to the ETC Predicted Airflow tables to correct for the increased calculated flow?
