Before you spend $600 on a new TB can't you ask a buddy on here to lend you a stock one or maybe one of their aftermarket ones on their truck for a few hours so you can do a few WOT runs and double check that it is in fact your TB?

Text sent Slow2008. Thanks, there aren't too many members from the Rochester/Buffalo area. I actually live in LeRoy NY.
I would really like to use an LS3 TB. I will have to check to see if anyone with a new Camaro will let me use one.

Well I have been trying to find out what throttle body I actually have. When I purchased it, it was listed as an LS3 LS7 throttle body. From what I am gathering, they are not the same. The throttle body I have has a gold blade. My throttle body is mounted so that the motor and TPS is off to the passenger side of the truck. If you are standing at the passenger fender, the TB blade turns in a counter clockwise direction. I would like to try a TB that when mounted the same way, turns in a clockwise direction. I figure if the air is forcing mine opened, if it were in the other direction, it would force it closed.

LS3 opens the same direction as the truck throttlebody, the LS2 opens the opposite direction. This is part of the reason some require the wire to be cut on the X-Link. Take a picture of your TB and post it up.

Here are a couple first gear pulls, and a 2nd gear pull. It does it every time the RPM's get to about 6k. I think I am going to try an LS2 TB. But you can see why it is so frustrating.
