Mark the reason why I dont fix the 418 right now is because I would need, a new cam, new pistons(dished more lower CR), new lifters, and someone to assemble it for me since I dont ahve the tools anymore. You are talking over 2K for it plus 42# inkectors wont do **** for a FI 418. Im going to run the 6L for a bit then get the 418 back up and running. I want an 80e and my 14bolt under there before teh stroker goes back in cause the 65e doesnt ahve a chance as it stands now and Im tired of breaking parts.

hard T cover, SS Rims, half a tank of gas, LT package, and me in the Z71 she was 5700 on the scale. I am 185. I also have the 6L/80e and the radix. So That IMO is about as heavy as the 1500 ecsb is gonna get short of throwing a tool box or your fat aunt in the bed.

This is all very intersting to me. I always answer these fueling questions with the driveability and reliability in mind. Minus the top 10 fastest trucks here, cranking up the FP to 85psi to get 43lb'ers to make 617hp (as per the KB attachment) just isn't in the best interest of anybody. Nor will it be enough to feed Cody's desire to go 10 seconds in a 6L. What is the stats on how long these pumps are gonna last with that kind of voltage? Erik what is the IDC on 43's at 85psi? That's without meth. Cody I stick to my original post, 500 to 550. Why bother with something that is fuzzy or has a grey area unless you are okay with a short ending? KB says "...adequate for 560rwhp WITH the boost a pump." In reality going after 10's, you are gonna need more than a boost a pump and inline, but for now...Screw the boost a pump, get larger injectors and tune for them. You have an inline right? You'll have them when you'll need them and while you are trying to bust 10's you'll have enough fuel because the injectors aren't freaking open 100% of the time. Just seems this whole discussion would be better if you asked, "I am getting 96lbers, but I only want to put 600 to 700HP to the ground for now, what fuel support measures should I use? Boost a pump? Inline? Dual intank? Combinatin or all?" That's my unedumucated take on it at least.

Exactly, you are contradicting yourself by talking about trying to run 10's on a stock bottom end 6.0L in a 5600lb+ truck, running borderline small injectors, and running the maximum boost possible.

You run an engine on the ragged edge in a street vehicle and it will blow at sometime because there will be some point in time that that perfect situtuation you have it tuned for is going to go away without your control.

I'd suggest building it right the first time and keeping it conservative and you won't be breaking parts, that is no secret.

What supporting equiptment is needed to run these 90+lb. injectors. Will the stock computer with Hptuners or efilive work?

Also, on a returnless system will just a 255 in tank push enough volume to by itself to run 90+lb. injectors.

Also, what brand of meth kits are yall running with 2 nozzles and 150 psi?
did I read that right?

it's the ShurFlo that is the "upgrade" to produce that psi...

Ah... For some reason I had 4700 in my head as your race weight. Probably closer to 5-600 lbs then.

That's *exactly* what I want to hear
