Got a good deal on the 6L and figured if nothing else I could sell it for a profit and since I want to get the crank on the 418 fixed and get some better pistons, new lifters, and cam I could throw the 6L to get me through till I can afford to fix the 418. I bought the STS kit cause I wanted one anyway and it was too good of a deal to pass up and since I would need it down the road anyway I couldnt see passing it up. The "bench-racing" will beginning of next month. With that said I am done explaining my reasons for doing what I have done, they are my own and that is all that matters, **** anyone else that has a problem how I have managed my setups, its my money

Cody...10's are out of the question. There ya go. 42's and 10secs don't go together.

Hey, I bought a brand new truck 16 months ago and it has been torn up the last 10 out of 11. I am currently buiding the 3rd engine and only have 17k miles on it, so what do I know about managing money properly

I would have shot myself in the head after the second motor, or junked the whole thing and told my insurance company somebody stole it!

I thought the same thing and then I saw this #3800lbs gto with over 702hp/753tq and is runnig 10.06@142mph on 42lbs injectors and an msd boost a pump (stock fuel pump). He is running a 5.7 ls1 with 9.1 compression, 225cc afr heads, 248/256 duration 600/610 lift, 114 lsa,1.8RR, forged bottom end, GT70 sts turbo, 15 psi, A2A intercooler, headers, t56, 3.42 gears, 112 octane. He is on sts's website, furious motorsports. How the hell did he do that?

that's almost 2000lbs lighter than Cody's truck -- so just think 12.06... Plus 112 octane, HUGE cam for the cubes, forged bottom end... Even so it's an awesome run. What you don't get from that snippet is what may have happened at the other end of the track
