Default How Do I Mount To This Turbo Exhaust Flange ?????

I bought one of these puppies and I can't figure out how to mount a "downpipe" to the exhaust.

I would think it would be a V-Band but there is no lip for the clamp to hold?????
It is a Garrett T04B Turbo (0 the number)

Looks almost like there is something missing since it has that counter bored area around the exhaust impeller. Maybe there is supposed to be another seperate peice that fits into that area with a v-band flange on it??

WOW no bolt holes, no flanges. Call the place you picked it up from. Maybe they have something that presses into that. IF not you have 2 options.
1 welding. But that can move the housing around.
2 bolts
that requires a machine shop, cause you will also need to mating flange bolt pattern to match.

Unless your building a big 408, your not going to like that 1.15 A/R housing. I'd get get a small housing with a vband flange on it. Problem solved

If Im not mistaking you have to weld a v-band flange to the exhaust housing. I know I was going to buy a garret but they said I had to weld the v-band to the exhaust housing...

If you have access to a lathe, you could try to turn a thick piece of pipe that would make a press fit into the housing. You could then weld to the piece of pipe. That would be my guess, but I know there will be a bunch of expansion to deal with, I don't know how the press fit would last?
