You can upgrade the p1 to the d1 right? My basic plan was to run the p1 on my stock 5.3. Meanwhile, I'd find me a 6.0 block and build it with a forged bottom end. Then when I swapped over to the 6 liter, I'd have the p1 rebuilt into a d1.

How much does it cost to upgrade? I thought I remember hearing it was around 700.00. Is that way off?

Not worth it just get the D1 now run it on your 5.3 and when you go 6.0 only cost will be buying smaller pulley! I think cost is more like 1200 from procharger.

Actually over $1400 to upgrade a P-1Sc to a D-1SC when I called a few months ago. Not worth it. You can buy a D-1SC for $2k and sell your P-1Sc for $1k.
