Both plus very reliable, rebuildable and handles a ton more air if necessary.

That's the right one. They also make one with 2 1/2 in/out so make sure you get a 3.0" in'out. It fits between the front bumper mounts and is more efficient than the standard 2 core horizontal IC.

What do you all think, Run e85 or go with a meth kit? Cause i know that with e85 your mileage does go down.

If your going to put in 80's, I'd run the E85. You will lose some mileage but you can run some serious boost and timing on it. If it was available in my area, I wouldn't think twice about.

You should do some research in the Forced Induction section on LS1Tech. They are a lot of happy E85 users over there.

The P1 will get you the 6-10#'s you want, you'll just need a smaller pulley. Also, the D1's boost comes on much earlier, whereas the P1's boost is more linear.

Ditto. A D1 is more efficient so it you will usually see lower AIT's at a given boost level.

The other advantage of the D1 (beside the great resale value) is that it will give you room to grow and you will always want more.

Hopefully John (Mangled03GMC) will chime in. He could probably answer that best since he went from a P1 to a D1 and I beleive he runs about the same boost.

If you are thinking about going with a P1 over the D1 I wouldn't do it.. The P1 would would seem as a entry level blower if you will.. You will want to take full advantage of the cam, converter.. I had a P1 and made ruffly 9 psi.. I didn't touch anything and slapped the D1 on, bumped it up to ruffly 12psi(diff pulley), the power is night and day difference.. Not the fact that I have more boost, but the D1 comes in so much harder, alot sooner.. Do not even think about it if you have already set on the D1.. TRUST ME.. Not that the P1 doesn't make power, because it surely does, but just not the kind that the D1 will offer
