Why dont you ask the guys up north running the STS kit

Not to mention dude you are 2wd on a wet road if you punch it you are going to be in the ditch period no matter what system you buy.

does anybody know what has to be modified on the livernois kit to fit the larger turbo(gt67 or gt76) in their kit it says on their site that any turbo upgrades to basic kit may require modification

are they on back order?

yea i plan on a 408 after i boost the 4.8/5.3 and on the 408 i want either livernois gt76 or mp122hh but with 2wd im goin to have to figure out something about the torque that a 408/mp122 would have

i dont actually have this truck yet just asking questions but im trying to find the truck with the right options

Even with AWD traction in the rain has become somewhat tricky with the radix bolted on.

So what are the final goals for your truck? I've seen a lot of different stuff posted here. Just from my own personal experience if you don't have a solid goal you'll end up spending more time and money redoing things as your mind/goal changes then if you have a definate plan to start with.

i want a solid dependable daily driver that is moderately quick for now and then when i get the money build a 408 and drop iit in there and with some sort of FI get into the high-mid 11s(capable) daily driven

i dont want to go under a 11.5 cause that is when you need a cage and im not going to do that

I agree with this statement more than you will ever know.
A year ago May I bought my truck and within a couple of months put the Radix on thinking that was all I was going to do, NOT, I got the mod bug and as soon as I heard of something else that would give me a few more ponies I would run out and buy it, Like E-fans, 1.85 rockers 90mm TB conversion and so on, Just check out my sig. everything was done piece by piece, than came the wide band and logging software, After more money than I care to think about it still isn't enough, So I took a step back and and thought about what I wanted,
I am not going to sit here and list what I have decided this is not my thread and I won't High Jack it, But what I am getting at is make sure you think about what you want or you will waste 10 or 20 grand, and still be doing it all over again.

I don't think you'd have to even worry about a 408 for that. I think you could do it pretty easily with a basically stock 6.0L and whatever form of FI you decide on.

My truck is about 1000lbs heavier than the truck you are looking for. If you take my engine/radix setup and put it in that truck you're looking at low 12's right there. Throw a cam and converter in there and that is your 11's truck....as long as the suspension/tires are up to the task.

Yes, with some of the awesome heads and 90mm intakes available today I think 11's could be done in a rcsb 2wd truck without much hassle.
